Our contribution to the SDGs

On 25th September 2015, the United Nations approved the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, the global action program to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all by 2030. It lists the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (whose acronym is SDGs), which address the great challenges of our time, balancing the three dimensions of sustainability: economic, social and environmental. The objectives are intended to stimulate interventions in areas of crucial importance for humanity and the natural world, in terms of People, Planet, Prosperity, Peace and Partnership.

In Sacco System, with our business strategies and the offer of our products, we aim to make our contribution to achieving these goals. Among the 17 SDGs of the 2030 Agenda, in Sacco System we are focusing on the following.

Goal #3

Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for everyone of all ages

Goal #8

Promote sustained, inclusive economic growth and productive employment and decent work for all

Goal #9

Build resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization, and foster innovation

Goal #12

Ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns

Goal #15

Protect, restore and promote sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems, sustainably manage forests, combat desertification, halt and reverse land degradation, and halt biodiversity loss
